Crisis Media Exercises

CoComms crisis media exercises provide the simulation of a critical incident with a real time virtual newsroom staffed by professional journalists with national experience.

We ‘broadcast’ an ongoing stream of live radio and TV broadcasts, together with written online articles and social media input via our ‘Twitter’ emulation, Kookaburra.

The material can be viewed in real time on a broadcast ‘feed’ in the main incident rooms to show participants how the consequences of their actions are being interpreted by the outside world. No amount of internal activity is a substitute for how your handling of an incident is being perceived by customers, the public, stakeholders, decision makers and Government. Our trainers have a long history of delivering media support of this nature with a wide variety of high profile private and public sector organisations
